Application Question (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Powerful-Relief7768
So I applied to two Starbucks near me (the first one I applied two weeks ago, the second one this Monday) and I received that automated message that tells you that you weren’t chosen to move forward in the interview process from both stores just a few days in between each other this week. I called the first store yesterday to let them I know I applied and the manager said she’ll be checking applications over the next few days and if she likes what she sees in my app, she’ll reach out to me. Anyways, here’s my question. Can the stores/manager still your application even if you have been rejected? Can they see if you have been rejected? Can they still choose to interview you even if you’ve been rejected? These are the only Starbucks stores near me and I really want to work here. I’m planning to call the second store either tomorrow or Monday.
For anyone curious about the availability I put:
3am-7am - Nothing (beyond store hours so I just didn’t put anything down)
7am-12pm - Sunday to Monday
12pm-5pm - Sunday to Monday
5pm-10pm - Thursday to Sunday
10pm-3am - Nothing

You’ll have to apply again. Starbucks does throw away your application manually and by accident due to a glitch sometimes. Happened to me. I was hired & Starbucks gave me a rejection email anyway. My manager told me to reapply because she couldn’t see anything anymore.

That’s what they say to everyone who calls after applying, they don’t even bother looking up your name to know if they’ll even consider. Right now pretty much every sb is cutting back labor so getting hired is a little bit harder rn

I don’t think so. I think it’s probably just your availability. It’s easier to get hired with availability from like 4am-1pm. Or like 1-9:30pm
