If this happens again- just know that if you can cover the spray: you won’t have to clean such a big mess.

Grab that shopping back and put it over it- toss him upside down into the trash and then fish it out to bring to the dishes. I’ve covered it with my apron before and then just made sure to wash that apron asap.

I did this once with a Matcha Creme Frappuccino. Me and staff had a laugh at it though! ✌🏼😂

FYI, don’t pressure them while holding them. Place them flat on the counter. Forgotten the seal a few times but never made a huge mess since I had it on the counter

I’ve been at Starbucks for a little over 2 weeks and just finished my training. I have done this twice in between the last 3 shifts.
First time it was because of the gasket and it was right after we had cleaned up for closing. Second was just prior to closing and it was because the nozzle was BROKEN and I am very unlucky 😢

I usually point the nozzle into the blender shroud before I screw on the C02. So then, in case this happens, the mess stays in one small spot. Easy clean up.

First time I ever made whips, what a great experience. 🫠

Well at least the rest of your shift HAD to have been better. Today, my first 15 consisted of pressing 1 on the blender instead of 3 for cold foam. Guess who got to clean up the blender while alone in the kiosk with a line 🙃

Once within 30 min of my 8 hour shift I had a full pitcher of passion tea fall off a shelf and spill down my whole back. During a rush. I wanted to cry so bad.
