so i've recently had covid. my manager says according to Starbucks procedures i am okay to go back to work since i've been fever free and have no symptoms now. however, i am still testing positive. i do not feel comfortable working knowing im still positive but technically i am still okay to work just have to wear a mask. should i go back to work or am i just being paranoid?? I've already been out so many days and i feel horribly missing more.

once your symptoms are gone you’re good to work. you’ll test positive for a while even when your symptoms are gone and you’re not contagious anymore

As long as you wash your hands, wear you mask, keep distance as much as possible then you will be okay. Your chances of getting someone else sick are slim to none. Your coworkers can also wear mask if they choose, they should wash their hands frequently, and keep their vaccinations up to date. The world is not perfect, but these procedures should be enough to keep them safe.

You will test positive for months after you have had it since the test are so sensitive

in my case it was after 5 days i could go back to work. i told my manager i was still testing positive with no symptoms and she said you could test positive for months after. just make sure to wear ur mask at least 5 days after returning and wash your hands frequently!
