If you get under 30 hours apply for unemployment although you’re not employed you can apply for it because you’re working part time

I’m a server at an Italian place, they didn’t want to lose me when I started at Starbucks so now I just do weekends there, can usually net about $2-300 in 2 days!

I’m a freelance writer and social media manager, and work as a hostess in the evening a few times a week. But I consider starbucks supplemental income, since hosting and freelancing pay my bills well, definitely try the restaurant industry you can make a lot in tips!

I work 40 hours as an IT contractor, and 20 at SB because the benefits are so good; but after over 16 months, I'm kinda losing my mind.
You could bartend on the side, tips can be good, depending on the location.

Definitely work towards becoming a shift. I feel very similar to you and even though it’s still not “comfortable” since cost of living is so high right now the pay increase definitely helps, plus hours become more consistent. But as for stuff on the side, You could do doordash or Ubereats on a bike a lot of drivers do that, I know a lot of shifts who also babysit.

Before I left Starbucks, I was working early morning shifts (like 4am-12:30pm) then working afternoon shifts at a retail job. It sucked.
