So a customer yelled at me for the price of their drink(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by GrayCera12
So I was on window and they came up and I told them their total is going to be like $6.70 and they looked at me really confused and told me that that’s not their drink. And I told them what it said on my screen which was:
Grande Nitro Cold Brew -Sweet Cream -3 pumps Classic
And I wasn’t on DTO. I just got to the window too. They said that that’s wrong and not their drink. So thinking in my head maybe they wanted the VSCNCB. I asked if they wanted the Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew and they raised their voice at me even though I’m right there saying no they want the Nitro Cold Brew with Sweet Cream with the Classic. Before I could try to explain how it’s the same thing but being worded differently, they were yelling at me how I was trying to scam them and trying to take their money.
My SSV comes in and talked to them and sees the screen and puts on the Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew with the 3 pumps Classic and told them the price and the customer said that that’s the right price and paid and left with their drink.
My coworker on DTO said they asked the customer twice about that and to see if the screen looks correct and they said it was. 🫠

i’m guessing other stores charge him for a nitro vanilla sweet cream sub classic. how much was the difference he was upset about? 10 cents?
edit: i just realized nitro doesn’t even get vanilla?? who knows what he was on about

It’s like probably 0.50 or 0.60 cents more.

Bruh gtfo is there is no reason for a customer to be raising their voice over a coffee
