Looking for a good matcha brand that I can make at home. Preferably one that has low sugar and low calorie per serving - I’ve started weight lifting and strength training so trying to get away from my usual sugary espresso drinks!

Costco matcha is unsweetened and has no caffeine. Trader Joe's brand is sweetened and also has no caffeine. Starbucks matcha is caffeinated and pre sweetened.

Costco has a decaffeinated matcha? The one I have from them is caffeinated, Sencha everyday matcha or something. It might vary regionally which brand they carry though.

Matcha is kinda bitter, especially lower quality ones. That’s why it’s popular with milk. Unless it specifically says decaffeinated it has caffeine cause it’s essentially just ground up green tea leaves.
