Something similar happened with me. Except i didnt get scheduled during my unavailable times. My manager told me that if i work hard enough, i can get more hours. But she said "there are hours to give but i need to see that u want it. Im not guna take hours away from *coworkers name* and give it to someone who doesnt show that they want it" ...lmao what?? First of all it would be messed up to give a partner somebody elses hours. If u have to do that, then no u dont have hours to give like u just stated. And i NEVER call out. Ive been with starbucks a little over 2 years and only called out 2 separate times which was last year. I work myself to the damn core every day im there and she tells me i dont "want it"?? Ok lolol

I’d be scheduled to work a night shift until around 8:30-9:00pm then come in the next morning to open when I was 35-40 minutes away
