Unexpected/Unexplained Pay Raise on June 27th... (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi fellow partners, I am a 9 year partner.
I read about the August 1st raises coming next month and was expecting that, but I saw today when I was on the portal, that I received a pay raise on 6/26, although it certainly wasn't the 7% that we expect to receive 8/1. I have been at $17.86 since January and on 6/26 it was raised to $18.19.
Has anyone else received an unexplained raise during the last week of June? Will we still be getting the 7% raise in August?
I am in Los Angeles CA for background info. CA is one of the states that has a section in the portal where you can see your pay rate history. I don't think all states have that option.

Just out of curiosity do I have to be on the work computer to access my portal or can I do it at home as well? Kinda curious what I’m at now that I’m reading this

At home! But it's "view only" on home computer, meaning you can't edit or add anything (like declaring your tips or changing information). But everything is viewable at home too!
