What if Starbucks did things subway style? Like they choose their type of drink (frap, latte, refresher ect) and they chose what they wanted. I am not saying this is a good or bad idea, I am just thinking I wonder how different it would be

Lol i feel like it would take even longer than it already does for the people that dont kno what theyre ordering or havent been to starbucks much. Idk but i do kno if they made it subway style to where the customer can stand and watch every step of the drink making process thru the glass like at subway, then customers would be policing us even more on their drinks like "no no no lighter on the ice!" And it would just be stressful lol

Having worked at both places I think it would help customers grasp the menu more easily. Starbucks makes their menu board more complicated than it needs to be. Drink, size, temp, add ins, toppings.
Bread, size, protein, temp, toppings.

Also, if it was subway style where they get to watch thru the glass like at subway, i feel like maybe customers wouldnt wait til we get to the end of the drink and hand it to them before they say "it was supposed to be iced" cuz they would see us in the process of making it. But there might still be some customers who would purposely wait til ur done making it so they can ask for both drinks lol idk. There are alot of pros and cons to it but it is intriguing in a small way
