Overtime and holiday pay? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi guys! So we were super shortstaffed today and I ended up doing about two hrs of overtime. I was just wondering what the rate is since it’s also holiday pay! Is it 1.5x the holiday rate pay? Thanks!!

You are likely not in actual overtime because holiday hours are separate from regular hours and are already classed as overtime in payroll. All hours worked today will just be 1.5x your regular pay rate.

Yeah but I worked 10 hours today, anything above 8 hrs in a workday is technically overtime in my state.
