I hate no foam customers more than any other type of customer. More than tik tok drinks, more than medicine balls, more than five fraps in drive thru, more than cold foam on everything. No foam customers take the one little bit of pride I have in my artistry and skill as a barista and piss on it because they do not understand what happens when milk is steamed.

I believe the anti foam customers became that way because of inconsistency of the foam quality and quantity. There are a lot of baristas that just don’t got foam skills.

One time a lady ordered a soy latte. When I gave it to her at handoff she looked at me and said “I ordered this with no foam.” She did not, in fact, specify no foam because I heard her ordering since the store was empty. But it’s cool, no biggie. I remade her drink with no foam and told her to have a good day. She walked halfway out of the store, turned around to give me the dirtiest look of my life for a solid 10 seconds, then left. I’ve hated making no foam soy lattes ever since.
