hey! just try to mention a few key words including (but not limited to): working well in a fast paced environment, being punctual, passion for creating customer connections, and being eager to learn. there will be a question about what you’d do when a customer says you made their drink wrong. the correct answer is, apologize, ask what the issue is, actively listen and empathize, and remake their drink.
but overall, the interview is very much a conversation with the store manager - my interview was super casual, just try to showcase your personality and smile! if your store needs more people, you’ll very very likely be hired as long as your interview doesn’t bring out any blaring red flags

The interview isn’t bad at all! I just had mine about a month and a half ago! Just constantly talk yourself up :) the boss really just wants to see that you can handle stress and working in a fast pace environment while having a good positive attitude. Which giiiiiirl lemme tell ya, that’s hard haha but don’t let the boss know that ;) and constantly telling them that you’ll treat others with respect and make them feel good is really important. Just stuff like that! When they asked me “why should we hire you?” I said “because I love how team oriented Starbucks partners are. And I feel like I can bring so much positivity and excitement to the team. I love working with others and I’m ready to work hard at serving others to the best possible degree.” That’s essentially what I said but honestly just talking yourself up is really what they want lol

i went to my interview not even prepared. i barely ever used to get anything from starbucks before working there too so all i did was lie. told the interviewer that i love starbucks and that connecting to people and making them happy makes me happy, this and that complete lies.
