Quick Question about Lyra (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by NovemberRose1980
Are you eligible for Lyra no matter how many/few hours you work, or is it a minimum of 20 hrs./week like health insurance? I may be voluntarily cutting my hours way down to take another job, but would really like to keep my Lyra benefit.

Also, do you still get another 18 months of Lyra after leaving? (In case my store can't accommodate my new availability and I have to quit entirely.) For instance, if I leave in August, would I still get 18 months with a new 20 session reset on Oct. 1 because of the 18 months continued benefit?

You can use it even if you work one shift there’s no minimum I’m not sure about the answer to your second question though. We have a nurse who works one day a week at our store simply for lyra!

Hey! The other commented is correct about not needing minimum hours to use Lyra. You are correct, the benefit continues for 18 months and would renew in October (the 20 seasons a year resets beginning of fiscal year). I just had my therapist look into this for me because I’m on session 17!
