i work at a high volume store to begin with so today was absolute hell. i haven’t been at starbucks for super long, my one year is next week. but i simply cannot anymore. it’s exhausting day to day, but today was fucking insane. my manager purposefully underschedules to save on labor & “earn more to give to us” but i have been getting 8-12 hours a week every week for the last month, no longer eligible for benefits and i can’t afford to survive.

that being said, i came home to a job offer from a company with no face to face customers, with a full time schedule, and over $2/hr more than i’m making now. going to miss free coffee but i hit the hardest happy dance
