It could be bc you’re putting too much matcha. if you’re putting enough to make it taste like seaweed then it’s wrong bc it’s overbearing. if you’re putting too little to where you taste milk more than the matcha, it’s also not right. there’s a sweet in between with matcha… it just takes practice to get the right flavour out.

that or you just don’t like matcha. but i’ve had 5 people say they don’t like it bc it tastes like seaweed and then i give them how i make it (i do vt mgtl 6 scoops of matcha) and they end up liking it

also you can't select long shots on the app for this drink but on other drinks you can select ristretto shots.I agree it's this really weird.
