This older guy comes to pay for his $20+ order and hands me $6 and is like “you guys have a deal today right?” Like yes we do but it ain’t gonna cut that much money off #1……and #2 this guy didn’t even have the app like huh? Then he gone ask how to get the app lmao 🤣

Offered this lady the discount and her and her husband said, “No thank you cause they thought it’d take points” 😭

Also many people think it’s 50% off the order like nooooo!

3-year SSV here. Yesterday, my entire closing shift was composed of two partners with less than 3 weeks of experience and one partner with only a full month of experience since being hired. Was real fun. Also, had clean play.

I had a 2-10shift and at one point during mid it was only me and 1 manager running the floor. Then closer to the end of my shift they said that when I leave at 10 it would be only 3 ppl closing which is normal. BUT 2 of those ppl had to still take lunches. It wasn't the leads fault it was our managers fault for our shit schedule bc we had a store meeting from 5pm to 7pm. And these bitches had like a 6.5 hour SHIFT and required lunches Which meant btw that I had to take my lunch EARLY bc my original lunch was set for 545, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING MEETING. Started at 2 and took it at 440 and I was there u til 1030. ⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️

The discount also doesn’t seem to work unless you’ve had an account on the Starbucks app prior to yesterday. Had to explain to several people that the discount won’t go thru if the account was made that day

I was actually wondering about this. I wanted to ask if it applies for Canadian stores? On our update it said for US locations but the discount did work on our POS so idk

Ok. I’m sure on our POS you can more than likely see everything including test items only seen/ available at testing stores/locations. So yea you can use it…authorized? Maybe not so much!
