Are bistro crocs approved for wear?(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by CroissantBalls
I transferred to a new store for a bit and I’ve been wearing the bistro work nonslip crocs. A few partners here say they aren’t in dress code, while some others do. The manager is unsure. At my old store 4-5 of us wear these shoes and the manager there loves them & recommend them! They’re also discounted through the perks at work so I would assume they’d be approved for wear….pls help I’m fighting for my life with my black nikes on this wet floor…

a ton of my coworkers wear them to work, i’m not sure if they’re actually in dress code, but no one ever says anything to them.

i think they are, the dress code says the shoes can’t be canvas and another material i don’t know off the top of my head. i believe when i got hired my manager said i could wear them but i decided against it.
they’re so comfy tho and the best no slips i’ve ever worn

Are they “closed heel”? If the heel is closed, closed heel clogs are on the yes list on the dress code If they are the sling back kind, the dress code says no

they’re definitely fine according to dress code. they’re ugly asf imo, but I love them

no. dress code specifically says no crocs.

The LOOKBOOK says no regular crocs, which duh they're open heel and the top is full of holes. The type of crocs OP is describing are closed heel and thus classified as clogs, like many other people have already said.

not according to SBUX. no crocs i.e. nothing from the croc brand at all. i know what shoes you’re talking about because i wore them for a few months until i was told that no Crocs AT ALL were allowed at Starbucks.
