I have the barista express as well. It’s a solid machine! I need to get a good scale so I can really calibrate it perfectly, but I usually pull incredible shots from it. We use beans from a local shop that roasts their own!

my dad has literally three different coffee subscriptions and i still get my mark out beans sometimes 😂 we drink a lot of coffee in my house

Moka pot, French press, and pour over. I make cold brew in a big pitcher and strain it through the pour over. The French press also makes a good milk frother.

I only drink cold brew at home for a few reasons and make it using a $1 that makes and holds in one. I like the method but if anyone else uses this I’d love to hear feedback. I’m confused why I hate drinking from it lately? Old beans “possibly” or I’m imagine the tiniest amount of soap stuck in the mesh filter?
