Yeah it’s really weird. This week and the next week I work 20 hours but the week after that I only work 12. Like dude….how am I supposed to live on that

our store is doing the same thing. most of the days we are closing our lobby bc of understaffed, but some of us got our hours cut even more. i went from working 21hrs/week to literally 9.75/week. it kind of pissed me off ngl. but i think it has to do with corporate. what i heard is our DM is almost forcing a SM to cut our hours so we fit in line and not go over our set amount of hours (this is all hear-say so pls take it with grain of salt). but it doesn’t make sense to be understaffed as well as cut hours.

It’s almost as if they’re intentionally trying to get people to quit. If there was already a union in place with a contract negotiated, you’d probably have a guaranteed number of work hours or salary.

i have also experienced an hour cut. i was originally getting 30 minimum (usually 32-34) and now i get 25-20 a week :') i can't pay my bills like this

exact same thing has been happening at my store. everyone's hours are being cut, manager isn't giving anyone the proper amount they want. i suspect it's because of corporate, ie our manager is not allowed to give us more. shitty as hell.

I started working for Sbux in 2015. Summertime at Sbux is always much slower and everyone gets their hours cut.

They legit had me off for a full week. i just wasnt on the schedule. a full zero hours...first day back today

I noticed that too and thought it was weird. Why are we have hour cuts in the middle of summer? I can understand in the middle of march because of slow business but it’s not march… I still have 5 shifts a week but they’re all 4-5 hours so they only add to like 25 hours in total which is annoying. Working the same amount for less money.

They cut my hours in half… I have a six month old daughter man, she’s gotta get fed and 16 hours doesn’t cut it… why they do this to us?
