For those asking why it’s It’s basically a caramel macchiato with soy and extra shots without the drizzle.
So it would be easier to just order a caramel macchiato instead of all that.
We have espresso macchiato but it’s made with shots and foam. We used to have a latte macchiato but it’s an extra shot made with whole milk

yes, a caramel macchiato is technically starbucks’ version of a macchiato, but an upside down latte is not a real macchiato. a traditional macchiato (which is also on the starbucks menu) is just shots of espresso and a dollop of foam

some people do this because on the app to get extra stars you have to order certain things. so if you need to get a latte but you normally get a macchiato you can easily work around that
