i think the lime coconut bars should be kept refrigerated(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by francescugh
i swear it’s melting point is like 60°
TRoseee46 points1y ago
Same especially since the base bar tastes exactly like the cranberry bliss bar and it’s kept refrigerated. They literally melt at our store.
hadeslittlecrybaby16 points1y ago
they should also be in a similar package imo. that way we don’t have to unpack a teeny tiny little bar and it’s frustrating.
Ulana_Holly_Ahh_191 points9m ago
Or if they came in two packs like the brownies and 4 package like the vanilla bean scones

At our store even the Petite Vanilla Bean Scones and Iced Lemon Loafs are melting along side the Frosted Coconut Lime Bars (not to mentionany the poor partner stuck on planted oven)

Why are all of the stores so excruciatingly hot this year?
mini_unknown_error1 points1y ago
We can't control our thermostats more than a couple degrees and there's a lot of people in a small space?
nicolelynnejones2 points1y ago
same I wish we had more control, especially with two ovens and 2 steam wands and summer clothes being generally against dress code, every store i’ve worked at this summer has gotten up to like 90 degrees
aregularwhitekid16 points1y ago
I agree, they’re better cold too (imo)
francescugh [OP]3 points1y ago
..i like the way you think.. shall try this.
Typical-Demand-55969 points1y ago
We definitely keep ours in the fridge. Way better
olivinemultichrome6 points1y ago
They’re literally summer cranberry bliss bars so I don’t understand why they aren’t chilled by standard
Better_Dust_23646 points1y ago
Our AC broke and we took one of the fridge thermometers and put it in the away from all the appliances. Well over 80 degrees since that’s the highest our temperature gages go. Probably between 85-90 and we’re in Florida so it’s only getting worse 🤡
Ours are literally mush it’s so nasty 🤢
francescugh [OP]3 points1y ago
if your AC is down you should not be open and working
dystopidrip3 points1y ago
could be different for other states idk but i’m also in florida and there is no labor law about temperatures of working conditions. there’s a recommended temp, but my store exceeds it almost daily and we can’t do anything about it.
coooffieee3 points1y ago
we keep ours refrigerated, because theyre basically the cranberry bliss bars (but not as good). my store manager said they tasted like ass when they were room temp.

Lime coconut bars? Where are u from?
Edit: never mind I was thinking of ice cream 🥴
Wonderful-Put-59722 points1y ago
I leave them in the wrapper and serve them cold
Ulana_Holly_Ahh_191 points9m ago
In my store it DOES have to stay cold...cux it has the frosting... I thought that was normal 😳 oh no
Mea-fae_Owl731 points1y ago
Same
philosopher_cat_lady-2 points1y ago
They're supposed to be refrigerated
iStealSharpies3 points1y ago
No they say ambient in the siren app
philosopher_cat_lady2 points1y ago
Oh. My old supervisor said he thought they were supposed to be refrigerated. I assumed he was right because it's a blondie. And now that I think about it, refrigerating the lime-frosted coconut bars might extend their shelf life past two days.
