Money courier so we don’t have to take our own daily deposits to the bank

My old store used Garda and their guns were displayed very openly. Current store uses Brinks and if they’re packing it’s not as obvious. But regardless they take the money we make in cash to the bank and bring us small bills & coins per stores’ requests to make sure we can make change. Most companies prefer to use a courier so that they don’t have to rely on random employees to bring the money places and not steal it, and they don’t have to worry about randos attacking their employees with money in tow.

It probably depends on your region. Where I am all of our cash is picked up by Brinks.

They are the people who take the 20s, 50s, 100s and bring them to the bank and give us 1s and 5s and change. They have the whole get up because people have and still try to rob and hurt them to take the money. That’s why they kinda show up randomly and only ask for a shift lead, trying to be subtle cuz they have a good 1k if not more in their hand and it’s hard to blend in when your the only one in a bulletproof vest. They go to all major retail stores. How often do you get a 100 or a 50 bill in change not at a atm? It’s cuz they take it away to be put back into the atms.

I do the change order and give the deposit bags to Garda every week when they come. The night guys are supposed to write in the bag the amount and print the deposit slip and secure it to the bag and write the last four digits of the deposit bag in the cash courier book. They hand you the bank deposit that your store order for money and change. And you give them the deposit bags and sign off that you took the bag from them and they sign off that they took the deposit bags. Exchange money as best fit for your store and you’re all set for them to grab it the following week.
