so my manager told me there is an opening for a supervisor shift at my store. She said if i’m interested she would train me to be a barista trainer and then i can get an interview. But i feel like i still don’t know all the little things at work. I’ve been at my store for about 9 1/2 months now and have learned very quickly. But there is a lot of stuff i feel like i still don’t know, like how to make iced coffee, which teas have caffeine, little things like that. So that’s what i’m most stressed about.

They clearly think your ready and have what it takes. Be honest and talk to them about the areas you want to be more proficient in. If you feel you won't excel be honest about that as well. It's ok of your not ready

supervisors don't have to know every little thing. hell, Starbucks hires people off the street to be supervisors. company knowledge is less important than attitude and leadership.

If you feel like there’s thing you don’t know then always ask! Learning things like what holds caffeine, etc are difficult no matter how long you’ve been there because you’re taking in a lot of information. Don’t sweat it, just ask when you encounter it :)
