So I was actually outsourced from a competing coffee company for an SSV position so I may be able to give you some sort of description.
They asked me a lot of “training” based questions during my interviews. They focused on how I handled situations with training and those I’ve trained. What was an issue I ran into and how did I handle it? What were things about people that were hard to train and how did I handle that? Did I ever take lead of a shift and how did I make things go smoothly?
Their questions are different if you’re outsourced like me. I was at a Tarbucks but not and official trainer, just the only person there with prior barista experience. Plus the oldest one.
I feel like it’s a lot of leadership/scenario questions tbh.
