Sorry if this is dumb but do I use the sanitizer hose or the wash hose when cleaning cold brew kegs?

i mean i use both and just make sure to rinse VERY thoroughly and let it sit upside down

Yes.
Scrub what you can of the buildup inside and around the rum off with the dish soap. Then you can either submerge it in sanitizer for a minute and dry or you can put it through the sanitizer machine using a cube to prop it up.
