This is the largest order we’ve ever gotten. Manager placed it and fucked it up completely. Took 4.5 hours to unload all of it. The back room was unwalkable. We did not even have room for everything. A lot of the this mess is unpictured. Biggest mistake was my ordering 12 cases of pike beans (each case comes with 4). We had to call to give it to other stores. Then she didn’t order anything we needed like dark caramel and cold brew. I’m so over this job. This was a ton of work for very little money.

This is how I felt when my manager who, mind you. Was explicitly reminded multiple times to place the Seattle order, forgot. It auto ordered, it was a massive order that took 4 hours to put away. None of what we actually needed was there. We had a back room full of shit we didn’t need or have room for.

I’m grateful my store used to be a restaurant so we have a ton of space, but holy. What is it with managers royally messing up orders lol. I’m always hearing horror stories of it happening.

I cannot stand when boxes are thrown by the door like that. I get that there's a rush but it's a major fire hazard. I'm a disabled partner and my store does this with a tiny ass back room and I get made fun of for how I feel. :l "Haha, I know you hate this." Like yeah, cause I can't get to the partner area without hurting myself.

I agree. I put the orders away all the time and we get big orders all the time. All you have to do is break down boxes and put them neatly in another big box.

that’s what i did lol. i used the big cup boxes and just one of those got rid of a quarter of the mess. i swear the back room was only that hot mess for like 10 minutes

When my Manger does the order there are boxes everywhere and it drives me nuts so that second picture gave me so much h anxiety 😂😂😂

You don't have recycling bins or a dumpster you can put it directly in? It's blocking an entire part of a walkway. 😮‍💨 I'm not necessarily blaming you, this seems to be the standard for a lot of sbux and it needs to change. It's not safe. No one should have to prioritize putting away merchandise over safety, especially when it's the manager's fault.
