My store has a phone list, so we can keep in contact with one another for shift swaps, updates on the store, etc. However there is a lot of turnover so the phone list isn’t always up to date. As an SFM, especially if I’m opening and I don’t have my opener’s number, it can be concerning if a partner don’t show up on time, so I understand. Additionally, I work at a very busy and dangerous intersection so I always worry about people when they are not in when they are supposed to be. If you have manager view in sbux partner hours, I have found that some (but not all) partner profiles will have a primary phone and emergency contact listed.

In our district we were told that we cannot have partner numbers posted in store, due to partner privacy. Instead we will have to personally ask partners if it's ok for us to have their number for emergencies, late, etc. Even then we are not allowed to share that number with other shifts/Baristas.
