Cutting Hours? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Im fairly new to being a barista and i was getting scheduled like 25 hours a week minimum and recently my SM took me off the schedule for a whole week but when i got hired I told them I was only moving to starbucks because I needed hours and they said minimum Id be working 15/20 hours a week. Did anyone else hours get cut? If no one else did should I say something?

In my experience, if you're not getting your minimum number of hours you need to bring it to your manager's attention immediately so they can try to remedy it. If they don't, take it to your DM and they'll (hopefully) help you sort it out. In theory your hours shouldn't be cut that drastically without a warning, assuming it's considered necessary to the store's operations. I hope it works out for you!

thank you so much! ill try talking to her tomorrow. i picked up some shifts for that week so i have at least 15 hours but im still going to ask!
