I’m a former partner and I’d love to pass these along if there’s a Jake that’s interested! They’re definitely used (some sharpie marks and stains but nothing unbearable) but it feels wrong to throw them away! (i.redd.it)

Save at least one as a kitchen apron! I love using my old work aprons just knowing it’s a free and decent quality apron I can mess up. It’s also fun to make edibles n such with my starbucks apron as a kinda “heck you” to the corporate demons and the system in general… but that’s just me
gaskillwedding2017 [OP] 6 points 1y ago
Hahahaha of course! Jake is my husband and we both did 5+ years with the siren so we’ve got a ton of them. Giving away two still leaves us an embroidered Jake don’t worry!

How do you get your name woven in? I’m new and just have a name tag.
gaskillwedding2017 [OP] 38 points 1y ago
Lots of stores just do name tags! But at least back in the day some stores would have aprons embroidered for their partners but I think that was/is the individual manager’s decision.
peepeepoopaccount 9 points 1y ago
My store embroiders them too :) I’m transferring soon so I hope they let me keep the aprons
Left-Needleworker422 7 points 1y ago
Ahh, everyone at my store has it embroidered but not. “Cries in new guy that just wants to fit in”.

Do you know anyone that sew/quilts? A great many home sewing machines have simple alphabets on them and someone may be able to do it for you!!
Left-Needleworker422 2 points 1y ago
I’m sure, I just wasn’t sure if it would violate some kind of policy lol

My store used to have a guy but they don’t anymore. As soon as I get my new machine I’ll volunteer to do them for my store. (My current embroidery machine is a steaming piece of garbage)

wankmasterr_69 3 points 1y ago
If I found this in the thrift I would up cycle it into a sexy Jake apron look
ItsAWildFelix 3 points 1y ago
I would actually love one if you’re still offering em?
Actual-Fortune-3098 3 points 1y ago
Hello, I am Jake 👋
clouds183 2 points 1y ago
We have a jake at our store! but I thought we weren’t allowed to keep the aprons after leaving the company?
gaskillwedding2017 [OP] 1 points 1y ago
Most of the non-embroidered ones in decent condition were definitely returned but no one really asked/there wasn’t a specific number they were expecting back or anything (he’d been a partner for five years so who knows how many he’d accumulated)
