Yea someone else said it could be because they are your sibling. But like the other commenter said, I don't think it should affect the way you view the job. Because also, even if your sibling didn't get hired then at least they have experience with applying to jobs and working with applications and stuff so I don't think that you should stop working somewhere just because they turned her down. It is sad that she didn't get hired but this is going to happen throughout her life where she's not going to get hired at every job that she applies to. She could try a different Starbucks store if she really wants to work at a Starbucks but yeah I think it's because you're their sibling and you work at that store so that's probably why she didn't get hired but the store has other needs like availability and other reasons that they may hire or not hire.

nothing, Im certain siblings can't work together at the same place. it's a conflict, my sister did the same and she couldn't be hired because I work at sbux.
