Hello, I just had my second day on drive thru, and someone always come by to help me out at times, because I'm kinda slow. I don't want to be a burden on that end, so is there any advice when it comes to drive thru?

I’m still kinda new but spend most of my shifts on DTO. It’s all about finding your timing. Sometimes when I’m taking a customers order and they go “ummmmmmmmmmmm” I step away and charge the person at the window. Also being able to memorize orders helps a bunch. Sometimes the people at the window have a question or need extra straws while I’m listening to an order. This is something that comes with time so don’t expect to get good at it right away. I really struggled with handing out the right drinks so try your best to prep the next order. Whenever you have down time play around with the buttons, make sure you’re getting paid when you learn.

time, honestly just takes time. Look through the screen when where are no cars and remind the customer ur new and still learning so it might take a second
