Debating on transferring… (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by elementvsp
So I am currently working at a Target Starbucks, and recently scheduling has been shit, and we didn’t have a supervisor for a good few months. Now Tarbucks is being closed for remodeling for a whole month, I was meant to get back on July 17th but the finish date was changed to July 27th without notifying the employees. As someone who barely visits target, I had no clue why I was not scheduled yet for that week until I saw a sign pointing it out where the Starbucks is at. No emails, no nothing. Since I have not worked there for a full year quite yet, I was going to work there until my one year mark, and maybe transfer to a local Starbucks that is actually owned by the business, and not owned by target but I’m still unsure because our supervisor is back, but upper management is still quite bad. Any advice?

You will have to apply to any Starbucks that is corporate owned.

so i personally would but just so you know it wouldn’t be transferring. you would apply yo starbucks, get hired, quit tarbucks, go through training, and then work.

the benefits are better and i honestly love my store, go yo the starbucks around you and do some work there or sit and drink your beverage and just kinda observe to see if you’d like it before going for it
