My petty way of dealing with these a-holes:

"woops, our card reader didn't work, you'll have to come back to the register to scan your card again" *waits for them to close app* "uh-oh, our computer seems to be really slow at the moment, one more scan should do it!"

"Oh shoot looks like we're all out of cream, do you want 2% or nonfat instead?"

A similar situation happened to me late week, I was heated for the rest of my shift lol

I'd just leave the sweetener it comes with in it. He obviously can't tell that it does.

so strange, we have a middle aged aussie male that would SO do something like this. always making weirdly sexual comments to young female baristas as well!
