my store has been cutting baristas hours majorly but has been giving partners from different locations 40+ hours. i would normally work around 22 hours a week but have been cut to 8 a week. im just a high schooler and i just need my pay to cover gas but just about every other barista there has to pay rent or bills. weve had our hours cut for two weeks and our latest schedule to come out is cut even more. is there anything we can actually do about this or do they just expect us to quit for whatever reason? also what do they gain from this?
