snowflakenecklace 16 points 1y ago
expired whipped cream. i quit a year ago and my aprons still smell like it. i’ve given up.
fastestman4704 18 points 1y ago
You dont. At this point it's part of the fabric.
StormTheParade 13 points 1y ago
Have you tried vinegar?
ConfusionDisastrous8 11 points 1y ago
Wash on warm, use vinegar in your fabric softener slot in your washer. Add a second rinse.

Frap roast

Wear one shift only, when I run out of clean ones I put them all in the wash. Nothing special, detergent, hydrogen peroxide, and all-color bleach. No reason for your aprons to smell. Been with the siren a long, long time and have never had an issue.
Not_Another_Karen 4 points 1y ago
I have 3 aprons, and I wear each for a maximum of two days, haven't had this issue yet. Thankfully.

Tide sports odor defense is there best Detergent I promise you. Also always a good practice to run the cycle on hot, with the most water possible and if you have an energy efficient run the wash cycle twice (you won't need to refill the soap since alot of it still stays in the barrel).

Let me know if you figure it out 💀

I have two aprons from my Starbucks time (Somewhere in a box..) that have been washed a few times and still have a mild smell of coffee funk. It's wild. 😂
TheFancy_ 2 points 1y ago
Bro mine consistently smells like milk
Strong_Challenge1363 1 points 1y ago
Throw it in the Hobart

I used to work as a janitor, trash man & meat cutter. The smell of a Starbucks apron is not bad , compared to the smell of rotting corpse &/or fecal matter.
Also, when I do have spills on my apron, I just go home and soak/rinse them off.
save-me-plz- 1 points 1y ago
i literally have like 20 aprons so i wash mine daily because i can’t stand the smell of rotten milk.
animeilove1219 1 points 1y ago
Zum essential oil detergent it makes any smell go away.
Mhill0823 1 points 1y ago
Lol I wash mine every week because I can’t stand old milk smell.
IcePickMan 1 points 1y ago
I wash mine with 4-in-1 Tide Pods then dry with fragrant dryer sheets and it seems to do the trick
RubySapphireSage 1 points 1y ago
Soak with warm water , I use dawn /fabric softener / laundry detergent . Leave it to marinate (I heard vinegar works) then I wash it .
c-3le 1 points 1y ago

-Ana-- 1 points 1y ago
Are y'all even washing them?? I've had my first one for over a year and it doesn't smell...
Ambitious-Industry-8 1 points 1y ago
Just except the smell of sale coffee and frap roast will forever be there
wasabitoad 1 points 1y ago
I use ammonia (lemon or lavender) on mine plus fabric softener, works like a charm!
supremesunshine 1 points 1y ago
OdorBan!! it’s a huge jug, i wash it in that once a week (regular wash every other day) and it doesn’t smell like milk anymore 😩
KeyCranberry 1 points 1y ago
3rding vinegar. I used to soak them in a bucket of warm water and vinegar for like a solid 30 mins before they went in the machine.
borrowedurmumsvcard 1 points 1y ago
