i’m so TIRED of making blended cold brew, they never want base in it and they always complain that it’s “not right” but never specify it. it’s not a menu drink, there’s no standard way to make it, and it’s not gonna be like a slushy if you don’t want base in it!!!! i just had to remake one THREE (3) TIMES because it “wasn’t right” and they wouldn’t specify 🙃🙃

they order cold brew and ask us to blend it, it’s super chunky though and the ice separates from the drink so some of it is liquid, and the other part i have to scoop out with a spoon, and it splashed everywhere and personally ruins my day

"It's not right? Well, becaue you didn't want the base syrup it wont have the same consistency of a Frappuccino. Its going to be closer to a snowcone. If you wanted to add a flavouring, or a milk we can do that. But as far as texture this is what we csn achieve without base. I can make you a small one with it to show you the difference. "

i tried to explain to this one person that bc she didn’t get base it’s not gonna be like a slushy but she cut me off so i just kept remaking them out of spite to prove a point :’)

Downsize the scoop of ice, only put liquid at max to 2nd black line and do add one pump of cream base (you don't have to tell them this, it will allow emulsion so it doesn't immediately all separate and it won't stick to blender)

no offense but im not gonna add base without telling them or asking first, some people are diabetic or on a diet and i don’t wanna compromise that. but i’ll definitely try the 2nd line thing

people usually get blended cold brew as a keto friendly alternative to a frappuccino, so putting base in would defeat the purpose
