congrats! I’m currently going on my 3rd week :) but don’t stress, ur first day usually just involves computer modules/coffee tasting + getting to know ur manager and other coworkers

they might also have you try out a few tasks as maybe trying to warm up food or restock around the store/general customer support, it’ll go great!! just be confident & ready to learn/listen to ur trainer

You’ll be doing computer modules for more than half of it so don’t stress!

I don’t remember how many hours, but actually the power was out my first day. So the AM had Spotify playing loudly on his phone and was dancing with a mop as a microphone. We all cleaned random things until the power came back.

But the “typical” first few days can be a bit overwhelming everything seems difficult at first, but you just gotta learn. Be friendly, say hi, ask questions… everyone was new at some point so don’t be hard on yourself.

My advice would be not to take anything personally. You’re going to make a lot of mistakes for a while, and that’s fine, but it’s hard to coach someone that gets defensive, and if you aren’t being coached- you’re not learning the proper way to do things. If you want to learn quick, you have to let your mistakes roll off your shoulder and get back to it.

Also, you don’t have to apologize all the time. We all run into each other here and there because we are in an enclosed space.
