So I am assuming that I basically got told “no” due to many people saying they got hired usually at the interview. I was told by the manager I’d get a call back (another thing people were told and never got a call ) but I should receive a call about it on Wednesday after she interviews two other candidates .. is it safe to say I won’t be getting it?

Biggest factor is definitely your availability - I guess depending on how the other two candidates look, you might or might not get the job.

I got my phone call a few hours after. It totally depends. I agree with the other comment about the availability. If your availability isn’t exactly what they’re looking for atm but the other two candidates match that a bit more, they’ll wanna see how they do at the interview

My manager let me know that they would get back to me within a certain time frame (I think it was like 3 days) and he said that if I didn’t hear from him to give the store a call. It’s not always on the spot, I’d give it a couple days

The assistant manager interviewed me and at the end told me he would talk to the store manager about our interview and to expect a call either way within a week. Got a call the next afternoon offering the position.
