Does letting someone take your shift count as a call out?(self.starbucksbaristas)

SM is telling me this. Did I miss something? I had a SSV ask to take one of my shifts and now they're counting it as a call out.

no. it means that you arranged for someone else to take your shift. once the arrangement has been made and you’ve obv traded in the app and/or let your manager know of the agreement beforehand, it’s not your responsibility bc it’s not your shift anymore.
however, if you and the ssv switched without letting anyone know and the ssv shows up to your shift, then yes, that would count as a call out.

Thank you. I let my SM know and they never said anything. It's been weeks. Now all of a sudden it's a call out? 🙄
Edit: spelling

As long as it’s approved beforehand no.

It doesn't, however, it can count as part of inconsistent attendance. If you have a habit of getting coverage for posted schedules, you can receive corrective actions stating so. 25% or more within a 6 week period.
