I'm sorry your day was so shitty. You're being way too hard on yourself though. At 1.5 months, you're going to still be making mistakes. Hell, I've been with the company 8 years and I STILL screw up on bar daily! Lol. I always tell my green beans to give themselves 6 months before they start feeling truly confident just because it's a ton to deal with, especially if you're at a high volume store.
Feeling as unwell as you were, you still showed up and did your best, and that's all anyone can ask for. Please be kind to yourself and get some well deserved rest. ❤️

I know it’s not as simple as just turning your emotions on or off, but if you can somehow find a way to do it, you’re allowed to not feel so bad after you clock out. Just remind yourself that it’s just a Starbucks, it’s not the Pentagon. Big companies want you to think that their stores are the most important thing in the world because as long as you think that you’ll push yourself to perform until you bleed and then some. It’s okay if you have days where you fail at something. Its just a coffee shop and the company will keep on chugging away just fine with or without whatever mistake you think you made. You don’t owe them absolute perfection, just keep doing your best and putting in the effort. Later on you’ll look back and laugh about how serious it felt in the moment.

I feel overwhelmed like this all the time at work, (we started about the same time too!) I think feeling stressed is normal because it's so fast paced.
