hiya! i just applied to a bunch of starbucks around me and i really want the job. i can really only work morning on monday, wednesday, friday, and saturday since i’m starting college classes next month. is there a specific availability that would increase my chances of getting hired or should i be okay?

It really depends on whatever that Starbucks you applied to will need. Will be different from store to store… they will either ask at interview and/or you can directly ask them so you don’t waste your own time.

Some stores like open availability

My DM told all SMs in the district not to hire people unless they have open availability through the rest of the year, and to tell them it has to stay open to remain employed. We were getting too many new hires that got hired and then didn't want to work weekends.

Or you wasted everyone’s time because if you say you have open availability on your application, and then you say you don’t in an interview, it looks like you lied on your application. Because you did.

My point is, it’s not a good first impression to lie.
