I posted last week after being hospitalized before I could begin my training. I updated my manager as best I could, and was supposed to be discharged this week, but I just received a message terminating my employment.

I’m mostly just wondering what I should say? I understand that the timing couldn’t have been worse, and I’m not upset with this decision; I understand that the position had a schedule.

However, I still feel embarrassed, and I’m not sure what to respond with. I had really hoped that they’d be able to postpone my training.
