Getting Hired as a Minor (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m a minor and I’ve been trying to get into SBUX for a bit now, but it doesn’t seem like any store wants to hire me. I have starbucks experience and am trainer certified. Any advice?

Are you under 16? If so, we don't even see your application but otherwise there's nothing flagging that you're a minor. Probably goes to what your availability is and what availability is needed just not being a match at the time, especially if you've applied to multiple stores. Our hiring site vendor has weird time tables so double check that you didn't accidentally make yourself unavailable during times when you could work and other than that, give stores a call to see specifically what they're planning for their fall hiring needs.

My availability is 5pm-10pm every weekday (except fridays) and open availability on the weekends! I called and now i’m just waiting on a call back

Do u have working papers?

Edit: never mind I’m assuming u do since u work at a licensed store. Some sm don’t wanna go through the trouble of working papers and especially when u can only work certain hrs.
