Ok so I just finished my last week of training at Starbucks and I have the POS area, refreshers, heating and cleaning and restocks packed down and remembered. But my shitty memory cant remember ANYTHING about fraps, espressos, mochas, lattes etc other than a flat white, Americano and how to steam milk. I don't know if in the only person who took notes while working my training week and using the modules but I couldn't finish my notes and I'm worried I'm going to screw up once I get back to work on Wednesday. Please someone help out if you can with pics of your notes or something, a website I can use or anything. I'd prefer simple visuals and simple charts than instructions bc I'm a visual learner on only remember what I can relate to when making it at the bar. Also I didnt even know there was a subreddit for this lol. Thanks!! :)

Advice: you'll get the recipes after repetition. Just don't give up. That sounds like a cliche. But. As a SSV, myself, I will give you all the time you need to practice on bar as long as you keep asking questions, show gradual progress, and don't get frustrated/quit. Not to say you can't tell your SSV like "hey I'm getting overwhelmed here, can I have a second?" But show resilience. After you take a breather, ask to jump back in and try again. You probably won't be given time during "peak" to practice. Just pull your SSV aside at some point and ask if you can have time on bar when it isn't "as busy." That shows you WANT to do it and because of that any good partner/SSV will be more than willing to help you through it. <3
Do caramel macchiatos still get one less pump, y'all? lol. I know they did away with one less pump for blonde drinks. But.

On PoS, Machs ring up as one less pump as far as I know. I'll have to check next time I go in lol

95% sure Americanos are 1/2/3/4 shots and Flat Whites are 2/2/3/3 (R)

Probably. Ngl I was 50% sober when I made this chart.

You're going to mess up. Even veteran Baristas do. That's a fact. It's how you learn from messing up that matters. Ask questions. Lots of it. Leaders and more vet baristas wouldn't mind helping you out. Weve all been in your shoes before. The ones that give you problems are the problem. Not you.
Now for the more technical side of things, sequence, sequence, sequence. Once you get sequencing down, bar will get much easier. I promise.
Ask your manager for some time on the bar. Let them know you're interested. I told my manager that I wanted more time on bar. I'm an opener so he gave me the first few hours from opening until peak starts as designated bar time for me. It's helped a lot.
When you start feeling overwhelmed, take a breather and remind yourself that you're new and you're still getting the hang of things. Remind yourself that you only have two hands (sorry for assuming if you dont) and that there's only so much you can do at a time. At the end of the day, it's only coffee.

Yeah thing is I work at the Astor place starbucks in NYC, a VERY popular Starbucks where alot of nyu students, people from. The area, some tourists , and other students come in and it gets very hectic sometimes. Do you know places I can get notes on these sequences to practice/study at home?

sbuxdates.com for a quick drinks cheat sheet - keep in mind that you’re not expected to have everything memorized. Most ppl take at least 3 months to adjust, the faster ones take maybe 2-3 weeks

Will keep in mind and thanks for the link

Use two hands for everything: aerating milk, pumping syrups, depositing inclusions. You'll get the numbers, which for most ised drinks are on the side of the Shaker. Ask for help! Ignore other partner's bad attitudes, and power through!
