Jury Duty Pay? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi all, so I got summoned to Jury Duty yesterday. I let my manager know a month ago and she had me put in a Time Off Request, and that she’ll make sure I get paid for it. About how many hours is jury duty pay? Like a standard 5.5-.75 shift or a full 8 hr day? Thanks!

be careful! my manager said the same to me and i didn’t get paid🙃 i was there for 8 hours and didn’t get shit for it! this was months ago so i didn’t say anything to them, i didn’t want to cause trouble, but im still salty ngl.

I got paid for the shifts that I missed so I believe it was what you’re scheduled. That’s weird that she made you put in time off for that

I went for one week total, spent about 30 hours there and got paid 150 lol. This was a few months ago

I didn’t get jury duty pay either because I requested the time off and my manager said jury duty pay was for missed shifts.
