Hey, so every summer our store has a pretty gnarly fly problem. For years now, our store manager has asked for the closing team to bug bomb the store right before we leave.

All utensils and ingredients get covered, and we set off the bombs as we are walking out of the store to close up.

My question is, is this allowed? I feel like it’s crossing a line to have hourly partners bug bombing the stores themselves.
I personally hate doing it, and feel uncomfortable doing it.


Last year, a different SM told me by no means are we obligated or allowed to do that, but I just want to be sure before I talk my my SM about it.
