7 months, I don't have any plans to leave any time soon

2 years in august. i say i plan to leave soon…but with the raise i’ll be getting at the end of august it would be a stupid idea. i’ll be making more than most other restaurants/retail stores in my area. if i’m going to deal with entitled customers and understaffing i may as well make more money doing it.

7 months, I dont plan on leaving anytime soon.
Im starting school with ASU this fall, I have health insurance after years without, and I have a wonderful team that takes great care of me.
There are days where this job absolutely runs me thin, Ive been sent home early on numerous occasions because i have broken down.
Ive never met a customer base thats worse than the one at starbucks.
If it wasnt for school, I would not be here. If that benefit is ever taken away from me for some reason, I will be leaving.
I plan to finish my school career and end with starbucks after a few years on a good note. But I understand why people leave and I envy them sometimes lmao.

9 months, idk some days I'm ready to quit on the spot.
My husband is active duty military and is waiting for orders soon, so I'll probably quit when we PCS. Since an LOA of one month isn't enough time to drive across country, secure housing, unpack my household, oh and I'm pregnant so I may or may not be close to giving brith.

about 9 months - at first I wanted to quit immediately but now i’ve already gotten promoted to a shift and am making my pretty good money so it would be dumb to leave but i also like the job for the most part

About 8-9 months. I’m ready to dip. It’s a shame I like the customer interactions and making coffee but my peers are horrible and I doubt it’ll be better anywhere else.

Too long - yup it’s just getting worse daily

24 years and I plan on thinking about leaving after my 25th anniversary. We will see. I have seen Starbucks at its best and at its worst. I have weathered the storm before. I do know that they need to seriously rethink their corporate (DMs and above)leadership model. I read Howard’s message basically saying the same thing but I truly don’t think he gets it. They want change to be at the store level when they don’t have people working at the store level creating policy. The old guard business model does not serve our society. Starbucks in its culture and philosophy (in my mind) was groundbreaking in the 90’s but it doesn’t mean it’s not necessary to evolve with the times (we did for technology and product development/trend setting but not foundational business structure). I have hope. Beyond all that I love the people I work with and the people I serve. I say it all the time, the people are everything.
