Do you get paid time and a half for working a week straight? I worked last week mon-sun and continued this week till thursday. My coworker told me I did but I was just curious if this is true or not (self.starbucksbaristas)

In CA you get double time for 7 days a row in the same calendar week.

The 8 hours past 40 will be time and a half the other will be just normal pay.

You'll definitely get time and a half for the 48 hour week. It's possible you'll get something for the second week. I know California has very strict rules.

I knew that first week but they said I’d get time and half for my second week but I wasn’t really sure and didn’t want to get my hopes up 😂

If you go over 40 hours you get paid overtime(which is time and a half) but that’s it.
