don’t do it - the unspoken benefit of tips is that they are untaxed cash. most people that get tipped do not report them. don’t do it. not worth it.

missed a couple weeks last year - got sent an amended W2 - for 56 bucks added on.

The IRS wont notice if you make a mistake 5 years in a row. They will notice if you correct it on the 6th year.

Not bad at all taxes on personal income are immoral. There are basically no cases brought down on people for legal income in the amount that tips are. You are more likely to die on your way to submit your taxes than you are to be prosecuted over tips.
