my boyfriend and i live together. our apartment requires online payments that you can only make on one account so i just give him money for my portion. apparently he hasn’t been paying and we’re being evicted. i have nowhere else to go. can i look into the cup fund so i can figure it out? i can afford rent on my own if i plan accordingly but need to cover what wasn’t paid. im not counting on this working but wanted input on whether it was a lost cause before calling

It's certainly worth a try. You also might want to take your (ex?) boyfriend to small claims court.

The CUP fund as I’m aware will only pay for emergencies or your rent as long as you have a formal eviction notice from your landlord/who you rent from without one I don’t think they’ll give you anything out of the fund. :( best of luck!

I tried the cup fund the thing is is you have to find a place first and my fiancé and I can’t find anywhere! We are currently living in our car. So if you can find a place, they will give you up to 1000$ US for a down payment
